Biography

  

Zambarangwe Anamela commonly known as Zamba Anamela was born on the 15th of October 1986, in Lusaka, Zambia. He discovered his love for music at the age of 7 when he and two of his younger siblings were asked to preform in church. In 1999 through a close friend Zamba Anamela joined an acapella group Called ‘Divine Acapella’ and 2 years later the group was in studio recording their first album. It was from this experience that Zamba developed an interest and a passion for music production. In 2004 after completing high school Zamba got the opportunity to go study in South Africa, it was while there that he decided to pursue a career in both Entrepreneurship and Music production. Zamba Anamela currently holds an Honours Degree in Business Studies and a diploma in Music production. In 2012 Zamba moved back to Zambia and concentrated on building and developing both himself and his record label Music Outa Africa Entertainment.

Music Outa Africa Entertainment is a production house and record label whose mission is to raise standards of African music with a focus on Zambia. For over 10 years now, Zamba Anamela has produced music and provided various audio solutions for a wide range of Artists and organisations Some of which include the production of the highly acclaimed album ‘Outside The Rox’ by artist Jay Rox. Zamba produced a majority of the songs on the album including the massive hit single ‘Autopilot’ that saw the artist walk away with 2 of the 2016 Zambian Music Awards. Further Zamba has produced various songs for artists such as Cleo Ice Queen, Yellow Dove, The Gospel Treckers  Prychi and TieFour.

Zamba Anamela has also been instrumental in the development of young gifted Artists like rising star Yamzy and gifted producer Bobby and is working on providing platforms that build talented individuals in the country.

He has also produced various solutions on MNET’S Zambezi Magic platform with roles that included creative directing, production sound, final mixing, music production & narrating.

In 2018, Zamba Anamela released 'The Cadre Of Love Project' a self produced 5 track EP showcasing his own music. The Cadre of Love Project is themed with songs that aim at building relationships from a Christian perspective with a strong afrosoul influence.
